Our goals

 

We are firmly committed to Maria  Montessori’s approach to learning in our environment. The child is in essence his own teacher, and his education is the process of his natural unfolding.

In our classroom we also seek to meet the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the child, nurturing them will aid in the trust and confidence of their environment..

 
The children will be free to explore their environment, to repeat and exercise any newly acquired skills, and to express himself freely. 

The teachers in the classroom communicate with the children the Montessori way, which shows genuine appreciation and respect for the children and follows Montessori principles. They act as guides for the children, using proactive guidance strategies.

We speak and listen with respect, it is an important part of communicating with the children, encouraging competence and independence along with “The Love of Learning”

 

We facilitate social interaction and learning through the use of structured and unstructured experiences that strengthen their social skills and better prepare them to manage the world around them.

 

The class has a certified Montessori teacher with over 20 years experience and assistants that are fluent in both the English and Spanish languages and have years of experience working with children..
